You’ll learn how to examine a casualty, use the defibrillator and perform basic life support. This will give you skills that could aid in saving lives and provide some relief till medical professionals arrive on the scene.

• HLTAID009 CPR is valid for twelve 12 months from the date of issue. The Australian Resuscitation Council recommends CPR to be renewed every 12 months
• HLTAID011 Provide first aid is valid for 3 years from the date of issue
• HLTAID012 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting is valid for 3 years from the date of the issue
